Biography
My name is Becky Cooper and I’ve been overjoyed to share 25 blissful years with my amazing husband, Mike Cooper. We’ve been given the incredible gift of six wonderful kids and nine grandbabies that light up our world. But enough with the numbers; let’s dig into the real meat and potatoes of my journey—a life filled with faith, challenges, and God’s miracles.

Childhood Grounded in Faith:
I was raised in a family where faith wasn’t just a Sunday thing; it was an everyday kind of love. My parents lived what they preached, setting the gold standard for us kids to follow. And let me tell you, all of us have carried that spiritual torch forward.
Navigating Through Tough Times:
As a bright-eyed high school senior, I got hitched, hoping for a love story like my folks had. I quickly learned it was nothing like the loving home my parents created. Instead, I found myself drowning in a sea of emotional abuse and betrayal. I was constantly cursed, ridiculed, belittled, and threatened and, months later, I was made aware of his unfaithfulness to me. I stayed with him out of fear for mine and my son’s life for another two and a half years until the Lord made a way out. The devil meant for this to destroy me, but God was faithful.
A Second Chance at Love, and a Lesson:
About 4 years later, love came knocking again. Though we shared romantic sparks, my second husband didn’t join me on my spiritual journey and I found myself backsliding as my he wasn’t keen on church. I made the mistake of placing him above my relationship with God. This almost completely destroyed me. This time, I didn’t see myself coming through, but God!! His passing was a brutal wake-up call for me; God needs to come first, always. Though it was one of the hardest times of my life, I made it through by the grace of God.
Love Strikes Quickly:
Two soul-searching years later, I was introduced to Mike Cooper. We felt an immediate connection and, within just 31 days, we were married! Some said we were rushing, others thought we were crazy, but we knew that God had put us together, arranged our meeting, and that we were meant to be together!

Ministry Through Lived Experience:
Now as a pastor’s wife, my own experiences have become my ministry tools. I’m here to help women escape abusive relationships and families battling addiction. My past hardships have become my present-day strengths.
Standing Tall Through Life’s Battles:
Now about my fight with MS: After seven grueling years, I was healed during a revival at our church. Then came my bout with cancer in 2010 and a dangerous brain tumor in 2011. But let me tell you, each challenge only fortified my resolve.
“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” – Romans 8:18
Unwavering Faith:
So here I stand, ready for anything life throws my way. Why? Because I’m arm in arm with the Lord, eyes locked on the eternal prize. No obstacle, no challenge, no evil will deter me because the Lord is on my side!
